Lucas is known for suing the hell out of anyone that uses his stuff. He told Ole Miss no (according to the ESPN commercial anyway) and that was that. I do not know if we offered him a cut. Not to sure how much support that idea had from our admin. That being said, Lucas would have still said no based on his track record.

Thanks for response- my guess is the admin didn't actively seek to make it happen (aka offer a cut). The response was funny Admin and Lucas people probably worked together to make it not happen.
