per ESPN:

MSU

Strength of W/L: 2nd
SOS: 19th
PPG Diff: 9th

FSU

Strength of W/L: 3rd
SOS: 35th
PPG Diff: 20th

Ole Miss

Strength of W/L: 1st
SOS: 10th
PPG Diff: 5th

Say what you want. Folks are starting to recognize that Dak and Jameis are fool's gold. Defense wins championships and Ole Miss has the best in the country.

Get ready, LSU. This won't be pretty.

Another interesting stat: Ole Miss hasn't won the SEC in half a century.

eta: But y'all were SECw "champs" in 2003

This is an interesting point with the stats & all but I'm not sure it was too smart to call Dak fools gold.

Just curious how om can be rated higher than state in strength of schedule and strength of w/l.

State has beaten auburn and lsu (both ranked). Auburn's win over Kansas state should make an auburn win more impressive than a bama win IMO.

the more you make threads referencing kicking LSUs arse, the more I realize how nervous you are for this game

so much riding on this one game

my buddy I work with is an OM grad and he hasn't stopped asking me questions about LSU personnel

Todd Blackledge said it best (for once)...

"This Ole Miss defense is absolutely terrifying!"

You have definitely benefitted from people abandoning the run. Too bad Auburn and State and LSU will all be run-oriented teams.

I don't get this one. We both beat A&M. State beat LSU who is ranked top 25 currently and Auburn who was #2 and is still #5. OM has only beaten Bama as a quality win. The others besides A&M, was Vandy and Tennessee who both suck. I would think State has the better wins so far
