Blitzes stopped in the 3rd quarter. UGA was up by a ton and wanted to keep everything in front of them. Can't blame them.
I think if Richt had to do it over again he'd wait till the fourth to take his foot of the gas if that massive lead was maintained during the 3rd.

It is not taking the foot off the gas... It is strategic. The way a team like that gets back into a game like that is with quick strike TDs and by getting turnovers. Arky got neither. On the other hand, UGA got a turnover and caught the Arky safety cheating and scored on a long pass. UGA also had the ball the last 5 minutes of the game and could have scored again if they wanted to. The 4 th down play was certainly not conservative. Our guy did not make the play.
Y'all can keep on saying things until you make it seem real in your chain of logic if you want, but you may consider spending some of your time and energy understanding tackle football a tad more...
Or just cackle foot off the gas over and over again....![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconrotflmao.gif)
