"I know this is not the time of Bo Jackson or Herschel Walker, this is a different time," Walker said. "But what is not different is right is right and wrong is wrong. What Jameis has done is wrong. You can say you are innocent until proven guilty, but one thing that is funny to me is that where there is smoke there is fire.

Like driving around in a real nice car you didn't buy so you would go to college at UGA? Like taking a loan for your parents which was illegal under the laws of the NCAA. The same organization that allowed you to rise to fame and a Heisman trophy.... Wait, you say this isn't proven? Well, where there is smoke, there is fire...

I watched the interview and did not have a problem with anything Herschel said. I did not hear him say that he never did anything wrong. I bet had Finebaum asked Herschel if he had been under investigation in '81 would he have had a problem with someone not voting for him, Heschel would say that would have been up to the voter.

As for any of you folks that were not around for the Herschel years, they were a whole lot different that the feel of Gurley on campus. When half the stadium would chant Herschel and the other side Walker for 5 minutes, it was amazing. Gurley is good but not on the cutting edge of change in the position. Walker was the beginning of the big back sized like a fullback with elite halfback speed.
