It kind of makes sense given the timing of FSU looking into the Winston signatures that UGA may have told them, "hey, yall might want to look into this because this might get ugly."

Is the reason FSU doesn't have to suspend Winston pending an investigation because there hasn't been a public accusation of him receiving money for the autographs?
I doubt he signed all those consecutive helmets, footballs, photos, and baseballs out of the goodness of his heart

It was the right thing for them to do.
I would have given a heads up to everybody except Auburn and Ole Miss.
