I have little doubt that we are going to make the play offs and we have a down week.... so next year.

I see 2 issues that we are facing. OL and QB.

What are your thoughts?

So you think Dak is leaving early then?

Dak will be back. We essentially have one tackle spot and center spot that need filling on the OL -- basically the same turnover that we had this year.

LB's will definitely take a big hit losing McKinney and Wells.

Not 100%. But if I am his coach, and he has the opportunity to go in round 1.. I would advise him to.

I'm more so thinking about the what if.

Cory Thomas, Grant Harris, John Calvin, Will Coleman, etc. I think we expect 3 of them to be good, and Harris is going to surprise some people with the amount of weight he's dropped to play DE.

It'll take a step back, but I don't think it has to be a big step back...

Maybe a list of who we will not return? Engie seems to have a pulse on that.

Gaining Green, Dez, Gray, Jung, the FRs, etc...

I see both units being on about our 2013 levels... About as athletic as this year, but lacking a bit of experience.

I don't see the dropoff from Wells to Jackson right now that I have in the past, which is pretty encouraging. He's still got work to do in coverage though...

Losing Wells scares me more. A LB that can get sideline and tackle or drop and play like a safety. Richie has shown he's can make plays in the middle and the same with B. Brown.

Our secondary will probably be about the same.

I do not see him going very high in the draft unless he improves his passing.

I am not worried about Dak leaving. He isn't an NFL level passer yet. He just isn't. There's no way around it.

Defense
DT PJ Jones
DT Kaleb Eulls
DT Curtis Virgus
DE Preston Smith
LB Matt Wells
LB Bednardrick McKinney
CB Jamerson Love
S Justin Cox

Fill In (Spot for Spot):

Offense
LT Justin Senior (Started RT)
C Devon Desper (Started Day's suspension at RG)
LG Jamal Clayborne (Started last year as well as played significant time this year)
WR Fred Ross / Fred Brown / Joe Morrow
WR Jamoral Graham / Donald Gray / Gabe Myles
TE Gus Walley
TE Daron Hutcherson

DT Cory Thomas / Grant Harris / Nelson Adams
DE Will Coleman / Ryan Brown / AJ Jefferson / Nelson Adams

The majority of the guys stepping into these spots have gotten a ton of starters reps this year. Lacking experience, sure, just as talented, yes.
