re: Is there a legitimate reason that Ole Miss uses turf on their field than grass?

We have turf because Petrino wanted it. He hated our practice fields we had at the time because they were freaking sloped downhill one way. He also hated that you could see in the practice area easily. He always practiced inside the stadium because he said it gives your offense an advantage at home due to familiarity.

Our turf always screwed up towards November anyway. I don't care regardless but something tells me if Bielema sticks around, we will be back on grass in a few years.
