If the defense plays like it did today...

We could be 5-1 heading into Jacksonville with the East on the line.

Gotta give Muschamp some credit, he shored up that secondary during the bye week and the defense looked great.

UGA still has to play UK and Mizzou too.

Who are they playing from the West?

The East is wiiiiide open. But UFs offense is really bad. Im going to reserve judgement on the qb situation until I see Harris play for a full game.

I have been telling you folks that we are in this thing and prepare to go to Hotlanta via our stout defense.

LSU is 7th best team in the west. Their offense is way off and their defense has holes the size of the Grand Canyon. When you have had 18 juniors leave early for the pros in past two years it will take its toll. Add seniors and those juniors and LSU just has had too many parts missing. They recruited a great class but it will be a year or so before the payoff begins.

Mizzou is also not that good and USC gave their game away to them. I think we are 4-1 in SEC play when we meet leghumpers and their strength is the run..and our strength is stopping the run. Gurley may get 150 yds and score 2 TDs but our defense will force mistakes by the dawgs offense all day long and give our offense a chance to score three or more TDs. UGA qb is not that good and has weak arm.

Glad they won but a win doesn't change the fact that yesterday's game was awful. It's too early to say Treon is the answer but at least they showed life. Whether that's good enough to beat many other teams on our schedule is left to be seen.

I don't think I've been more frustrated with Muschamp than yesterday. He was stubborn leaving Driskel in there for so long. Did he think he was helping him by leaving him in there? No awareness about how Driskel and the team were feeling throughout the game. He has mismanaged the QB situation and in doing so, has only increased the scrutiny on both JD and Treon. I want to like him, but he isn't good.

I think Muschamp realized "shite Im gonna be fired if I don't make this change" after Driskel threw his 3rd pick.

We're not very good, but LSU sucks and so does Missouri. We'll probably squeak into the SECG.

i think roper wanted treon to begin with. he recruited him after he got here. hopefully roper knows what hes looking at and can utilize him effectively.

i hate it for a good guy like jd, but he'll keep us from burning a rs on grier this year. let the treon era begin. i do like that he is one of those ballin arse south florida kids.
