Have you seen the rant talk about Welter or our Dline?

Good QB play can make up for a lot of deficiencies. Just look at A&M

LSU deficiencies I've seen at limited viewing other than QB:

Inexperienced offensive skill players
LBs meh
DL solid but not dominant
Safeties meh

Good QB play has never been a prerequisite for LSU being successful in the recent past. Strong D, a power Big-10-esque run game, and NFL WRs was enough to win due to immense talent. Obviously you need someone with a pulse @ QB to keep the defenses honest.

Harris clearly deserves a shot but there are other holes in the roster.
