Here is why I am confident:

1 - it is a long season, I think our defense will be better and stronger later in the season

2 - a lot of folks were saying that aTm was not as good as perception after the USC game, and that USC was not as bad. Same for Mizzou (after IN) - they played their hearts out

3 - we have one of the best offenses in the country, outside of Oregon, I can't see anyone better than us with the rock

4 - the rest of the schedule looks really manageable - we don't play anybody that we flat out can't beat

5 - I think we can match up with anyone in the West

6 - as a Georgia fan for 40 + years, I EXPECT to win the SEC every couple of years

I think we have a strong shot to win. Sure, we lost a tight game to a bitter rival, but that is so 3 weeks ago...

I was pulling for UF against Bama, but in the end, y'all got Roll Tide and buried.

Firing Boom ain't the answer, he has already taken you to the Sugar AND has your guys playing like they care. It looks to me like he almost has the mess he inherited cleaned up, but that this won't be your year to compete for the SEC.

Anything from 4 - 8 to 9 - 3 looks feasible for UF for this year, either way, y'all need to keep Boom.

For UGA, it LOOKS like 9 - 3 is our worst case scenario, BUT we are once again favorites in the East (no disrespect meat to Mizzou)

No disrespect meant to you, but there's a lot of delusion in this post.

1. Your defense is surrendering an average of 31 PPG vs. teams with a pulse.

3. You can't - can not - have one of the best offenses in the country while trying to hide your QB.

5. Based on the above two observations, Georgia would enter each game vs. the West at a disadvantage at QB. Any team capable of holding Gurley to 100 or less should have no problem outscoring you. And god forbid, someone gets up 14-21 to really test Bobo's determination to stick with the run.

All this said, you have met the primary criteria to win the East: yinz lost to South Carolina.

How is this a counterpoint for what he said?
