It's a national TV game for A&M, too. There is not anywhere close to the level of anticipation among A&M fans as there is among Hog fans.

I was in Texas the week before the TAMU-Bama game last year. Listening to the radio, TV you would have thought TAMU was playing for the BCS title that week.

We were playing the historically-best team in the conference, after having beaten them the previous year. Of course there was lots of hype.

Compare to this weekend. Arkansas did NOT beat us last year, and the Ags are not the consensus-best team in the SEC.

Or are we? You tell me.

We've sucked for the past two years and looked better the past 3 weeks and a half of football than we have since 2011. The A&M game is a chance to prove ourselves and see how far we've come. Plus it's in an exciting venue. The Auburn game had similar hype since it was the first game of the year

That's true. In fact, the vibe I've felt in Arkansas this week is very, very much like the vibe that was in B/CS prior to the Bama game last year.
