I live in college station. Sure, people are discussing the game. The discussion goes something like this. "Are you planning to watch the game?"

"Yes, it should be a good game. Aggies will win by two scores."

"I agree. Enjoy the game."

Hugh is describing a completely different level of obsessive discussion. Something like the discussions that we had in college station before the Alabama game in 2012. You know, two highly ranked teams, with clear implications for the conference/divisional championship.

The Arkansas game should be entertaining. It might even be competitive. But it does not justify obsession.

A&M is a highly ranked team that they think they can beat. I don't know why you think it's strange for them to be excited about that.
