It's the 25th anniversary. It's a commemoration. It helps to retell the story, and understand who he was and what he stood for.

I can't believe I didn't have more familiarity with this. I'm going to try to catch a re-run of the SEC Network's special. Seems like a really touching story.

This is what Im confused about. What did he stand for? Not flaming at all. He played in the late 80's when the race barrier had been broken, and race was pretty much a non issue in football by that time. Just curious.
