I just noticed I made it in and as many of you know UK football will always occupy a portion of my heart. It reminds of me of family and my dearly missed Mammaw who was hardcore in her support. When UK does well it makes me think of her and would that she'd lived to see the rebound after so many decades in the wilderness.

My Kentucky family had a huge influence when I visited in summer time and as such I cheered for both UK and UT - later that became UK men's basketball, LV basketball and football (that's the privilege of being a border kid, imo :D) and later still only UK only when we don't play (across sports). Even so, my heart will always be torn a bit and I love UK sports. I just have too many wonderful memories of my cousins and Mammaw supporting BBN in everything - some still do. I will always be a bordr kid and one who loves both.

To me UK-UT is a dual sport rivalry and all about family. I look forward to what y'all can teach me and feel UK football is finally on the right track.

So thanks again.

ETA: Mods feel free to move if I put this in the improper place.

Howdy Prof

You may be my favorite Vol poster. Dunno why but it seems you should have been here long ago.
