quote: you're saying if we put the 7 pts back on the board from Gurley's run, and possibly score on first-and-goal It doesn't work that way. You can't just say "well if we scored there, and made those 2 field goals, and scored there...we'd have won by 20!!" Every single play alters the game. If Gurley had scored on that TD run, SC would have then adjusted their gameplan based on the score, the momentum, time left, etc.

Danke Kapitan Offensichtlich. I don't think anyone said that. We lost by 3. In a game that close any score changes the game. It's illogical, IMHO, to say that those two TDs, or a TD and FG, wouldn't make a very big difference in the outcome. Didn't happen. Maybe those two calls will be in official's minds in later games. Let's move on.

Honestly, even if we would have scored there, since we are playing "what-ifs"...South Carolina would have had plenty of time to run/throw it down our throats with 4 minutes left in the game...We couldn't fricking stop them. IMO...we still would have lost.
