Frankie Hammond Jr., Solomon Patton, Trey Burton, Jordan Reed, Mike Gillislee, Chris Rainey, Deonte Thompson are all skill position players on NFL rosters. He also inherited Jeff Demps, guys still on the team like Dunbar and Debose, and a bunch of highly rated QBs.

All of those players were suited for Urban's offense- not a pro style offense that Fat arse coached. Jordan Reed was here one year for boom. I honestly don't remember if Chris Rainey was actually with boom I don't think so.

I will give you Mike Gillislee. None of our TERRIBLE OCs knew how to use Trey Burton.

Can a knowledgeable poster explain how Meyer left the cupboard bare?

UF's recruiting rankings:

07: #1
08: #3
09: #11
10: #2

Was it attrition? Poor recruiting to fill needs? I don't think I've ever seen it explained. TIA.

I agree, but nobody was forcing a change in offensive styles. In retrospect we should have waited to make the change.

Yes Boom got the elite type job before Miles and Saban. Damn that sword cuts both ways, much lower expectations than the inherent high expectations.
If you don't perform at one of the powers like the Gators, it is difficult to get another comparable job.

I challenge anyone to name a coach that lost a great college job and latter got another one.
