He's actually a really great guy personality wise to have as a coach, at least in my very limited experience around him. He does some really neat things around campus that actually makes it feel like he gets and enjoys being part of the entire university. It's cool and unexpected. My favorite anecdote is just before Christmas break one year, he wandered across the street to give a little pep talk to the grad students in my college slaving away on grading and wrapping up our own papers. There is no one on campus during reading days but grad students and coaches I guess.
