The new NC selection process is very flawed.

The new selection process has inherent conflicts of interest, as it concerns two members of the selection committee (Pat Haden and Oliver Luck). Despite the so-called recusal requirement, who thought putting active ADs on the selection committee was a good idea anyway? What happened to avoiding the appearance of impropriety? Is it really recusal, from both the discussion and the voting, or is it only absention from the voting? It should be the former, not the latter.
Haden and Luck have conflicts of interest, not
only to their respective schools, but also to their respective conferences. If one or both of them don't recognize this and act accordingly, is there a process to compel recusal?
Keeping the BCS's selection process, but having a 4-team playoff system to determine the NC, would be much, much better.

Not to mention Condoleeza Rice is gump and probably can't even tell you the difference between a nickel and dime defense.

The coaches poll is no longer a direct determinant of championship participants.
your argument is invalid.

Absention? Impropriety? Recusal?
You must be a lawyer.
