By what? Even the staff has admitted they don't trust him beyond 20 yards, or in the center of the field. He completed one pass of each today, and it was the same throw. A inside post by Coop. And it was roughly 22 yds past the line of scrimmage and just inside the hash where coop caught it.

And no, the staff hasn't verbally stated it, but play calling tells you everything. Against a team who Sims could work on his deep ball against. They called him ONE, count em, ONE potential deep ball.

Coker opens up the offense in a way Sims cannot. Bubble and WR screens will not work as 45% of our offense, and 90% of our passing offense, when we get into league play.

I like Sims, he throws a tight ball, and he is accurate within his range. Has beautifully quick feet and does a fantastic job scrambling to keep a play alive. However, he isn't the guy we need. He is the guy we night have to deal with though.

How does Coker open up the offense (at least at the present time) when he can't even COMPLETE a bubble screen?

Truth in this statement. Short passes against Florida and LSU will not keep their defense at bay. I stack the box against us and play tight on the corners. Sims had to get the ball down the field and the receivers need to stop dropping the few that he does throw. That doesn't help his confidence.
