Well done SEC storied, made me cry. What an upstanding young man he was.

I haven't been moved like that in a long time.

Yeah if I wasn't so busy studying while watching it just now I would have probably cried too. Damn, it was sad.

That brad Gaines is really dedicated to Chuckie, even now.

Feel horrible for him too. Although, he really had absolutely nothing to do with the injury. If he had tackled someone and hurt them like that I think he'd have some serious problems dealing with it.

I woke my wife up sobbing. The frog in my throat is just now going away.

I stay up nights mostly, I have Chronic insomnia.

I've been doing the same for the past 6 months or so. It's killing me though

Really was incredibly well done. If that doesn't make you emotional, you're crippled inside. I don't know that I've ever had tears in my eyes and chills at the same time.
SEC Storied won't ever top that.

I didnt get to see it. Was Brad Gaines the receiver for Vandy? Does he blame himself somehow?

Watching the previews of it made me want to watch it. I didn't know who chuckie Mullins was until this aired.

That took me back to a really sad time. But I also remember the collection barrels and people coming together for a cause like I had personally never seen before.
Brad Gaines...So sad to see a man carrying such a burden around for all these years. He was clearly not to blame- this was one of those things that "just happened". His dedication to keeping Chuckie's memory alive- and finding a way to deal with this personally- says a lot about this man's character. He deserves a long, happy life with his family.

I was at that game. It was very scary. I too remember the collection barrels. I have it set to record but I do remember seeing a show about this and the burden Gaines shared on it. It was a terrible tragedy.
