Standing behind every word.

Even after Saban basically said that you're wrong?

Sorry, was working and did not have a chance to actually watch the video. I actually thought it was a link to something else.

Yes, I still stand by my words, but I'm man enough to admit when I'm partially wrong. I did not know Saban taught "playing the ball" as an automatic once the db gets "in phase" with the WR. I was under the impression that the key for that was a combo of situational and reading the WR eyes. I was wrong there.

However, I maintain that Saban's own words in that video support my implication that "playing the ball" is not always possible. But if Saban teaches it to be automatic upon getting in phase, so be it. Sylve should've turned around a few times, no doubt. I was wrong.

Nonetheless, I still maintain that Sylve did not play horribly. He's got some stuff to work on, no doubt. But I do take exception to words like "horrible" being thrown around. I prefer to support our guys and be a little more glass half full kind of guy.
