That's bullshite. Maybe it's different in Georgia but it don't cost that much. I can tell you right now 20k is super excessive, you can get a pretty decent Uzi for 6,000, 6,500 and have it be fully automatic.

Cheapest I see online is 15k. So I was off by $5k.
Those likely aren't Uzi or their semis.

This is a 22,000 dollar rifle.
If you're buying a 20,000 dollar Uzi even with the stamp you're getting raped.

I sold them and many weapons like them for a living.
15,000 is outrageous.

You're talking about this one, and the reason it's so expensive is because it comes with:
IMI Full-Auto UZI Model A SUBMACHINEGUN 9mm, W/.45 and .22 Conversion Kits. Stock # NFA 114. Serial # 01xxx. This is a fully automatic (selective fire), and fully transferrable folding stock UZI Model a Submachinegun, made in Israel by IMI, and imported into the US by Action Arms. The gun is photographed in it’s 9mm configuration with a 20-round magazine, it also comes with both .45 acp and a .22LR conversion kits, as wall as a manual (no boxes, no other accessories). The submachine gun is in excellent condition with no cosmetic issues, and it has a shiny bore.
You'll also notice that there are no bids on this, because like I said: This is outrageously priced. You can go to a gun show and get much, much better deals than this.

The 2nd link are all semi autos.
If you sold them you should know the difference.

I'm well aware, I'm wondering how one could think that they'd jump to 20,000 dollars simply for being fully-automatic.

As I said, 6,000 to 6,500 is a good range for that type of weapon. 15,000 and it better come with a Russian mail-order bride.
Or a bunch of conversion kits.
Edit: Proof

7,000 - 7,500 price range.
But what do I know?

I wasn't aware that you could legally make a full auto weapon that isn't made for law enforcement. According to the article all weapons that are full auto are pre-ban (1986).
I don't understand how this company is making them for individuals.
Can you explain?

Also, it ought to be noted that the reason I no longer work there is because I witnessed illicit transactions and quit.

This is the case. If someone has a full auto, post 86, it's not legal, if it's not LE. Anyone can own one with a Class III license, but it best be pre 86.

Exactly. So how is this company able to sell brand new weapons? I've never seen a full auto go for less that $15k

Looks like the loophole is licensed to manufacture nfa firearms. Can then be sold only to LE or destroyed if license isnt kept.

I'm starting to wonder if any of you have ever actually been to these gun shows whatsoever.
I'm also starting to notice that you guys think arms dealers play by the rules with everything.
There are probably millions of unregistered weapons floating around, similarly, how do you think cartels manage to get fully-automatic M4s? Do you think they buy them from China? Christ on a pogo stick, guys, this is one of those reasons that people say there needs to be more government involvement with firearms.
"I Just don't get how they could break the law and sell people stuff illegally, even after this guy posted a link to a news story how the owner was arrested for just that. "

there needs to be more government involvement with firearms.
The 1938 German Weapons Act, the precursor of the current weapons law, superseded the 1928 law. As under the 1928 law, citizens were required to have a permit to carry a firearm and a separate permit to acquire a firearm. But under the new law:
Gun restriction laws applied only to handguns, not to long guns or ammunition. The 1938 revisions completely deregulated the acquisition and transfer of rifles and shotguns, as was the possession of ammunition."[3]
The legal age at which guns could be purchased was lowered from 20 to 18.[4]
Permits were valid for three years, rather than one year.[4]
The groups of people who were exempt from the acquisition permit requirement expanded. Holders of annual hunting permits, government workers, and NSDAP members were no longer subject to gun ownership restrictions. Prior to the 1938 law, only officials of the central government, the states, and employees of the German Reichsbahn Railways were exempted.[3]
Manufacture of arms and ammunition continued to require a permit, with the revision that such permits would no longer be issued to Jews or any company part-owned by Jews. Jews were consequently forbidden from the manufacturing or dealing of firearms and ammunition.[3]
Under both the 1928 and 1938 acts, gun manufacturers and dealers were required to maintain records with information about who purchased guns and the guns' serial numbers. These records were to be delivered to a police authority for inspection at the end of each year.
-- Nazis actually greatly reduced firearms control.
