Spurrier, Gus, les , sumlin

Spurrier lost to 2011 Auburn and 2013 Tennessee. All coaches suffer embarrassing losses to teams that shouldn't be able to compete with them.

2010 and 2013 Auburn were great at 4th quarter comebacks, and that's the result of coaching; however, we only have 2 great years for Malzahn in the SEC. I've read that Chizik put a muzzle on Malzahn in 2011. What about 2009?

Les Miles' teams play down to Arkansas and Ole Miss; it's a joke that you put him on this list. Alabama has only lost one game to a team that finished the season unranked, and that team happened to be the SEC East champion. Other than that, Alabama has lost to some school's GOATs and consolation bowls.

Even if Sumlin were a great game day coach, he hasn't assembled a great coaching staff, so his recruiting ability and game-day coaching abilities are irrelevant. Also, I'd like to point out that he didn't find an answer for LSU's defense the past 2 seasons despite the dropoff in defensive talent/experience that LSU had last season.

What about 2009?

You mean when Auburn finished 16th & 17th in the country in total and scoring offense? That 2009?
