most dealers won't do it. Under Armor wouldn't give us nearly as good of a deal if we tell them they can't do out basketball team. They may even refuse. Then that gives us less leverage when negotiating with an Adidas or whomever.

Ignoring the obvious competing interests in the AD, it is more valuable to sell the copmlete AD sponsorship. Companies will pay for exclusivity and pay an additional cost for the bundle



It is the same logic as to why you pay more for "the complete set" for collectors pieces. UA/Adidas want the whole thing, not a slice and to share

because as it has been said countless times, splitting up the contract greatly decreases the overall max apparel deal we can get. The max value will come from one company having all sports.
