He has paid his debt and wants to build Auburn into a national powerhouse to match up with Gus and be the best coaching duo in America.

Good coach. Get his panties in a bundle and starts recording recruiting conversations when it doesn't go his way though.

Pearl's a Vol For Life - even after he was fired, even after it became clear the stars just weren't aligning for a return, and even after Auburn hired him - he's said so multiple times. Will always love the man for many reason and not because he won (that's actually at the bottom of the list in terms of why) but the biggest thing is that he took the effort to really reach out on campus to everyone, students, profs, staff etc. That was special. He loved it here and that was obvious and remains obvious. It's hard not to love the guy back for all that.
I'll root against him when we play but I doubt I'll ever hate the man and I think most UT fans feel the same.

I've yet to hear you list a single UT coach you like. Most you dislike. Starting to think no one can please you on the 'like' front. Maybe to competence or good coach front but not in the "I like this coach!" arena.
Hell, IIRC, you don't even like Summitt. What the ever loving frick??
