Those who voted for Obama, do you regret it?

Now that he's vacationing/playing golf while Americans are being murdered?
Fwiw I'm not even a conservative. At all.
But I think Obama was the trendy vote, and I think he's been nothing but terrible. He also takes credit for Bin Laden when he had basically nothing to do with it. Right place, right time.
Eta please explain your stance

If he had to wait to vacation when Americans are safe, he'd never vacation.
He's been average at best, but that's not a terrible thing.

Admittedly I bought all the snake oil he was selling and voted for him first term. Second term not so much.
I feel like he's been a pretty poor president overall. Seems to be more interested in being the President the celebrity instead of the President the commander in chief.

What if I told you that I saw Obama on vacation? Would you believe me? True story, yo.

Americans aren't always kidnapped by extremists. Rarely ever actually.

Irrelevent. Timing is everything. A man's head was chopped off this week. And he addressed the nation, and went back to the golf course.

Also why don't you regret it?
Eta is it because you're both black?

If you can find me a President in your lifetime that didn't vacation while "Americans are being murdered" I'll send you a bottle of bourbon.
I voted for him the first round and abstained in the second as I was tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. And there's a good chance I won't vote in the next election with the idiots lining up for that one too.

Big difference in a war going on and a person being kidnapped imo.

1). I'd rather have him on the golf course than screwing things up. Play more golf, Barack.
2). A lot of this stuff, he can't fix. And not even a competent President could fix it either. Play more golf, Barack.

You think people weren't kidnapped during any of the previous administrations?
Alright.
Alright.

Crises never end, and being president might literally be the most stressful job in the word. It doesn't bother me at all.
When would be a good time to take a few days off, in your opinion?

The Bush "now watch this drive" moment comes to mind.

Never voted for him, but I honestly don't have a problem with him being on vacation. There is always some terrible shite going on somewhere in the world an even the CiC can't stay personally engaged 24/7. Complaining about such is petty imo.

he be eatin' an ice cream cone.

They weren't kidnapped by a group like ISIS who is the biggest threat to America since when Bin Laden was in control.
BUT if it did happen, I'd regret voting for that person too. It's not a pissing match. I didn't ask for a comparison to other presidents. I spelled it out pretty clearly in the OP.

I read somewhere that one President, I can't remember who, would have his day scheduled in chunks of six minutes. That's how busy he was. If he had to have a meeting or a briefing it was divided into one or a set of those six minute blocks. It wasn't Obama but I'm sure all modern Presidents have been that busy, we don't see it but they're President 24/7, wherever they are.
Their version of "vacation" probably isn't cutting the cord, it's just moving the office and changing the pace. I don't have a problem with Obama being on "vacation".
As far as him not cancelling vacation for this latest beheading I think we need to take a close look at the event. It sounds like we made efforts to free him including an operation in Syria. Now we failed but what more do we expect Obama to do? Run back to DC and prepare to wage war because some terrorists did a terrorist thing?
