Many of them compared themselves to Vandy and Northwestern during realignment as well. Their delusion regarding the importance and stature of their school knows no bounds

Just say something like "That's funny, I never hear Notre Dame say they are the Catholic Baylor"
One of my favorite jokes when schools like to try to associate up with other schools. This works well for Ivy League comparisons.
