I am sure there is a university student handbook or code of conduct that covers this and if she violated it, they can remove her from school.

I'm sure there is some catch all in a handbook that they could cite to punish her. That isn't a law. The question is why would they (not how could they) and do they intend to enforce the code against all forms of bigoted and offensive speech or just the ones reported in the media?

I would BET selective enforcement is used, based on the race of the person/s involved.
