So Texas and Texas A&m are willing to separate, two huge public schools that have hated each other for 100 years, but UNc and duke, one public and one small private school, who didn't really give a shite about each other until the late 80s, won't separate?

The historic rivalry was NC State and UNC until ESPN got involved and Wolfpack got in NCAA trouble. If NC State stays out of trouble, we probably never hear about UNC vs Duke.
