quote:

Team: Tony Stewart will not race; Regan Smith will sub

Good.

Speaks volumes though, imo, that he even considered racing today. Unless he's in shock still and isn't thinking straight.........

All the quotes coming out about it being "business as usual" at Steward-Haas today and that he was still going to race make them look fricking horrible....

Lots of cowards in the media too, imo, that didn't point out what a bizarre and horrible decision it was when he was still saying that he was gonna race.

Its a pretty big leap to think TS intententionally tried to run over that kid. He's a hothead but that's just psychotic and its not a natural reaction to aim for a person running out in front of you. Also, as was mentioned before if you run out onto an active track trying to shout out a guy you're taking a big risk.

Maybe this will help it sink in to these guys that this isn't hockey and people get killed when you get out there and either try to put somebody in the wall or want to fight a guy when things don't go your way.

Jeesh Jefferson,

I don't like NASCAR or Sprint racing, mainly for the reasons presented so vividly last night, but thousands of people depend on a paycheck that's directly tied to TS racing today... It's his job to race and it's somebody else's to step in and say no it's a bad business decision.

You have to leave all that personal shite at the door or you become the next statistic.
