From my experience, almost everyone old enough to see Archie play will tell you he was a legend in the college game. I take their word for it, considering the level of respect he has from opposing fans.
Peyton has a long history of consistently beating the teams that aren't as good, but he has a rather shaky history in big games, particularly in college. Given the talent around him at Tennessee, more should be expected of him, so I would put him behind Archie.

I mean, he won every "big game" he played in except the orange bowl his last season. He was 1-0 in the SECC, and 3-1 in bowls. I guess if you call the Florida game a big game then you are kinda right.

Absolutely. I look at Archie as a QB the way I look at Herschel as a RB. In a class of their own. (Except for Bo as a RB....Bo and Herschel are as close as you can get in ability on a football field)
