That's the secret to Pinkel's success.

He doesn't have the name brand (yet) to shoot fish in barrel like his competition, so he has to identify players a year before they emerge. And he's been wildly prolific doing so, as his winning percentage and longevity testify to.

His latest challenge has been the big boys circling back late in the process to try to pick his pocket. Backyard players they overlooked chasing the 5*, only to realize they were rated too low to begin with. He's held them off, but the word is out on GP's eye for diamonds in the rough.
