Because it's more fun to watch you fumble (not a Yeldon pun, I swear) around. It shouldn't shock anyone that coaches and talking heads are picking a decent system player on a run-first team with a track record of O-line success. Put Yeldon on a UGA's roster and he doesn't sniff those stats or accolades. Put Gurley on Bama's roster and he wins the heisman. I'll say it again, Yeldon is an average SEC starter, elite relative to the rest of college football, but given the pedigree of Bama and SEC backs he'll be forgotten pretty quickly. Gurley is elite in every sense of the word.
