I thought Murphy did pretty good for us until he got injured. I wouldnt say he sucked. At times he played way over his head.

He played good against terrible D's. He gave many UF fans false hope. When UF played solid D's it was easy to see the deficiencies in his game.

Murphy doesn't suck -- but it's kind of the same story that Driskel had to deal with.

No O-Line to provide protection.

Lazy/uninspired receivers.

Poor playcalling.

Banged up running backs with no threat to run.

I don't think any quarterback could have done well in a pro-system without the necessary pieces; that's one of the reasons I wanted to keep the spread aspects -- smoke and mirrors type of stuff.
