To criticize the practice of stickying so many threads at a time. It looks like a Kindergarten bulletin board with all the shite pinned up there.

Ah, I can help you with that one. All bulletin boards, no matter the topic, are inherently Kindergarten bulletin boards. It's the very nature of the beast. It's best to just accept it and move on.

Aha! Yet that thread has been stickied since May.

That thread is very nice, I agree, but should be bookmarked and left to float away until it is bumped with a new link to a game.

Check. Your move, Loathor.

But what of those who aren't regulars? Those who don't come here daily to get their fix? Or new posters? I think it would be profoundly more helpful to have this thread stickied than to have those lost lambs wandering around and starting inane threads requesting this prized information which they might not have had a chance to bookmark in the past...

I just requested the roll call thread to be stickied so new posters can check in and find the thread conveniently within a mouse reach. That thread is popular enough and should not require a bookmark (last post was yesterday and within your 3 day requirement).

Yes, this would no doubt happen if that thread was not stickied.
