Did your kids play on Saturdays a lot or did it just dominate your weekend in some other way. I'm not a parent so I don't know these things (yet)

i'm thinking he meant he can travel to the games since he wouldn't have to wait until the game friday was over to leave but maybe that's just my better understanding of english.

When they were pre HS yes, games were on Saturday. Its a long drive to Tuscaloosa from where I live and just wasn't worth the same day trip on Saturday to lug , 3 kids and wife to a game. I've been to a few games over the years. It just that it will seem easier now with out the HS football games and time requirements out of the way.
Funny how more responses were not in the actual games but my personal life.
No wonder posters always complain about this board sucking.
