Just called and was offered $50 off the NFL Sunday Ticket and $15 off my bill... FML? Told them I had to think about it.

I have a year left on my contract so I'm guessing that what they are banking on me not wanting to pay $260 to cancel.

I have every channel they offer and NFL Sunday Ticket. I would think they would offer something more to keep a customer who buys everything they supply?

Everything they offer is too dependent. You should lower your tier plan and then call back to cancel a few days later. Experiment with them, tell them you're having money issues and need to lower your expense so you're changing packages

I'm starting to think the rumors are real, that DTV will be picking up the SECN soon. My feeling is based on the skimpy offers they're making to keep us.

I think I'll switch to Dish based on what they, DTV, offered me. Dish is giving me HD and the Hopper free and it'll cost less even with DTV's discount.

Wish I had bad credit. Buyout wouldn't factor in then. They would think damn he's not gonna pay it anyways
