What can you do to help/prevent that though? Not take as many nationally elite guys?

I do like getting the overlooked guys out of MS and LA though. Those guys almost always play with tremendous chips on their shoulders, especially against the home schools. I loved how Beniquez played in the Bama game. Was really his coming out party. Think he started all of the last 3 at SLB over a SR...

I couldn't think of a better scenario in Baton Rouge than putting the ball in the hands of a LA kid, snapped by a LA kid, with another LA kid lined up at RB. Now -- it's LSU -- and I was barely driving last time we actually beat them -- but the scenario this year is as good as it's been for an upset in BR since 2000, when the first cracks in the Sherrill regime developed with a 14 pt lead in DV...

Also, on Mixon, we actually "made room" for him while at camp. He wasn't a take until then -- when he performed so well there that he basically didn't give us a choice...

Have better balance in a class. When you're taking less than 10 in-state players in a class, it's a bit worrisome. But you can't "overstock" on them either. Mike Shula did that.
