Just read a nice missive on the topic here:

Thing about articles on ROK is that the comments are insightful and informative.
Take a look for the 'male' side of the issue.
Marriage can work if the man stays masculine and the woman feminine.
It's when the men stop leading or the women try to be men that marriages most often fail.
We can thank the false teachings of feminism for that in large part.
