Bama played with at least 5 DBs on the field just about every play against A&M the last two years.
Outside of the annual three yards and a cloud of dust bowl against LSU, they are in their nickel packages more often than not. That is true for most defenses these days.

The difference is that Chavis can go nickel with his base personnel. The aTm air raid is a bit extreme and from what I remember Chavis used a dime package against you. However, in the day and age of the HUNH, being able to go with multiple packages with the base personnel seems to be the trend.
