SCAR's 2015 recruiting class, right now, is consensus #2 in the country behind Bama's.

While I agree with most of what you say, this is simply not true.

Cocks are doing very well, but A&M is #2 in the 247 Composite. If USC was a consensus, then they would hold that place, not 5th place.

If it is incorrect then it must have just recently changed? It wasn't a lie, evidently something changed recently since the last article I read.

Recruiting rankings are going to fluctuate. Regardless, SCAR, as is A&M, Bama, Florida, LSU, UGA, Auburn, Tennessee ... all lining-up to have big time classes.

Mizzou is not. Yet Mizzou fans, some of them at least, seem to think that it's all about losing some players and then taking years to build it back-up.

I get what Mizzou fans are saying, I do. I see them posting about it all the time. But SCAR has been there. We've been middle of the pack looking-up and trying to play catch-up with the talent. A&M has an advantage that Mizzou does not when it comes to recruiting. Mizzou won the SEC East last year - they need to capitalize off of it this coming recruiting class or their window of opportunity closes.

Just look at what SCAR has done since winning the SEC East four years ago. This is my point. Mizzou has to do it now - and, so far at least, they do not appear to be doing so in the recruiting wars. Now, if they surprise everyone again this season then that'll change things and allow them inroads into some areas where maybe they've not had success before.
