I get it. There's something to be found wrong with anything Bama does.
So, even though your school shys awway from big out of conference games, it's especially not right that Alabama embraces it. West Virginia this year, Wisconsin next, and USC in 2016.

I have several times and pasadena...
The coliseum and the rose bowl are both dumps compared to SEC stadiums... FWIW
