no idea about incentives but I'm 100% certain some TX kids are being offered in-state tuition rates at both Bama and Auburn. All of them? Likely not. As wmr stated, only some get that deal at Arky so I'm sure it's merit based.

Our out-of-state incentive requires a 3.8 GPA and 27 ACT. They still pay $3000 more per year than in-state.

We slide into that sweet spot below private school and other out of state tuition, for the right kids. They pay more than they would at TTech or other smaller in-state schools, but less than they'd pay at OU.

I'm sure even aTm offers similar incentives for meeting a certain set criteria for out of state students for the same reason the policy leading to this lawsuit was made, diversity.

I qualify as one of those kids. I only applied to Auburn, but I'm guessing that I would have received in-state as well if I applied to Bama because it happened to a few friends of mine from high school.

There are a few of them in Georgia as well. I believe we are first on number of students enrolled at UGA outside of the state of Georgia. It is nice having places to stay though at every away game because of friends from high school that went to school all around the SEC.
