What people in this thread don't understand is that the talent in south LA is much better than Alabama. LSU can still be a good team with 75-85% of recruits coming from in-state. When you go to Alabama to chase a kid you're competeing against Bama and AU. Not to mention it's just not as talent rich as LA. It makes sense that Bama would be in LA more than LSU would be in Alabama.

Not really; the states are pretty comparable. The difference lies in having 2 top football programs.
