i've heard it every year since 2010. ever since mullen had an 8-4 regular season, state has been the "dark horse" team in the west, and every year they've won between 6 and 8 games. not that it's bad for state because i actually think ole miss fans underrate mullen. i think his consistency at a school like state is impressive; however, it's getting really old hearing that they're a dark horse or about to make noise or whatever else. it's just not going to happen.
