I've always stayed w family in BR for our games down there but have some friends this year who are staying in Nola and looking to catch a bus to BR that Saturday for the game. Aren't there charter buses that go from Nola to BR on game days ? Anyone done this? Know how to go about getting a spot or anything? Thanks y'all

I've heard it's usually like $5 on a Hotard, but it could be different since it's a gameday. Personally, it sounds like a hit or miss. You'll either get across the bridge in 45 minutes or 3 hours, there is no in between. Staying in Nola sounds like fun for a friday before a game though.

If the alumni hotel is in Nola there will certainly be a bus or four. I'm not sure where it will be though.
I saw a hotel list awhile back, I'll try and find it.
Eta: There are two alumni hotels for that game. Double Tree in Nola with a bus for $30 a person and the Marriott in Red Stick.

Not sure about from New Orleans, but the Chimes runs a bus from their location in Covington for all of the home games. It's a fixed price including in-route drinks / jello shots. Had some family members do it. They had a blast. Think it was around $50 per head 2 years ago.

Your best bet would probably be to check with the Ole Miss alumni association and see if they're organizing any charter buses.
