The real problem is how it works out next year. It may workout and even help out the 85 roster the issue will show up over the next class or two. The new rules state that once a player signs a NLI they count towards that recruiting class and can not be backcounted into if they fail to not qualify. So if they do not get in you signed 13 this class and the 8 spots are basically lost.

I seen a great post from another board about how USC gets to bring in athletes that don't qualify other places. I don't know if I should bring it here or not but basically USC has special admits for special circumstances. This started in 2007.
