Recent history tells me they will struggle on offense, as Auburn post-Cameron Newton, Florida post-Tim Tebow and Texas post-Vince Young did. Another team that will suffer will be Clemson post-Tajh Boyd.

Another couple factors playing against Texas A&M are them playing in the SEC and having a terrible defense.

UTx didn't struggle on offense after Vince Young, they essentially reloaded w/ Colt McCoy. During those years, their "low" point on offense was ranking #22 in Scoring.

There's no guarantee that Kyle Allen or Kenny Hill will be able to pick up the baton, but it's premature to count them out. Plus, even w/ Matthews and Evans gone, there is still a ton of talent on the offensive side of the ball (OL - Ogbuehi/Ifedi/Harrison; WR - RSJ/Speedy; RB Trey Williams/Tra Carson)

As for the defense, we'll see what guys like Myles Garrett can do. Our D was a lot better in 2012 when we had Damontre Moore giving us a pass rush.

Apparently we're the only program in history that has ever had multiple NFL first-rounders.
