13-1 lost to bama (SEC champion, beat pac-12 champion, beat ACC champion, should have been able to play big-12 champion)
12-1 lost to LSU (Lost at home, didn't win division, didn't win conference, got a mulligan)

I'd take 08 Florida over any other team on this list, hell against everyone but 2001 Miami I'd give you 10 points as well.
