It is tough to beat same team twice, but not impossible. Bama beat Florida twice in 1999. First was close and Bama destroyed them in the rematch in SECCG.
Bama was one of top two teams that year and deserved in BCSNCG. They proved to be the best team by what they did in that game.

What Florida did to FSU in that rematch was much more of an arse kicking than 21-0.
